On Friday, 21st October 2022, our office was transformed into a vibrant sea of pink as we hosted a charity fundraiser in support of Wear It Pink Day. This annual event is one of the largest fundraisers in the UK, taking place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Wear It Pink Day encourages people all over the country to don pink attire, organise events, and raise money for Breast Cancer Now, the UK's largest breast cancer charity.
The staff at our office pulled out all the stops to create a day full of fun activities and friendly competition. A lively company quiz tested our knowledge and teamwork, while the cake competition showcased the baking talents of our colleagues. Additionally, we enjoyed a sweepstake and an entertaining game of bingo. To keep our energy levels high throughout the day, we were delighted to have a catering company come in to serve delicious food to our hardworking staff. The combination of food, games, and camaraderie created an atmosphere of unity and enthusiasm that resonated throughout the office.
We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to the generous contributions and participation of our staff, we managed to raise a total of £227 for Breast Cancer Now. This vital funding will help the charity continue its mission to fund research, provide support, and ultimately, save lives. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our staff members who took part in the Wear It Pink Day festivities. Your generosity and spirit of giving have truly made a difference. We are proud to be a part of this remarkable event and look forward to participating in future fundraisers for this worthy cause. Together, we can make a difference and work towards a future free from the fear of breast cancer.
